This is the first year I planted blackberries. I planted 3 varieties and so far this one has grown the most (several shoots with the main one more than 5 ft tall). It didn't flower this year, but I'm hoping it will next year. Berry production and taste will determine if this stays a 4 or becomes a 5 star berry.

I LIVE IN ZONE 4 IN WASHBURN, WI.THESE BERRYS ARE LISTED FOR ZONE 5-9. PLANTED THEM 2 YRS AGO AND DIDN'T THINK THEY WERE DOING WELL SO TILLED THEM UNDER.WELL LAST YEAR THEY TOOK OFF LIKE CRAZY WITH MANY MORE PLANTS THEN I ORIGINALLY PLANTED. I NOW HAVE 4 TO 5 FOOT PLANTS WITH MANY BLOSSOMS AND AM EXCITED TO SEE MY FIRST CROP!! I RATED THEM A 4 AND MAY GO TO A 5 IF THEY CONTINUE LIKE THEY HAVE AND SURVIVE THIS WINTER WELL.
Here are a few Ouachita thornless blackberry plants that I planted in late March 2020. They are currently dormant and should look a lot better this coming spring / summer. These were planted from root cuttings.
